Scrubba gloves
For root vegetables that are peeled quickly and efficiently - without getting your hands dirty (or wet), look no further than the new 'Scrubba Gloves'. 'Scrubba Gloves' are made from a heavy-duty polymer onto which hundreds of plastic 'granules' have been fused. And as each granule acts as a mini grater, potatoes, carrots, parsnips etc. don't stand a chance when 'cupped' between these gloves.
A gentle but firm twisting motion removes the top layer and just a couple of washes under running water quickly dispenses all that unwanted skin, leaving you with clean vegetables, ready for the pot. For perfect results you'll still have to top and tail 'em but hey - that's a small price to pay for something so quick and effective!
