I have to confess that very rarely do I pick up a pen to write these days. An easy excuse would be to blame it on technology such as text messages, emails and instant messaging which has reduced my hand writing to an almost illegible scrawl so it's refreshing to see a new product that blends the old with the new such as this silver brushed metal finish message pen. With the ability to store and display messages up to 188 characters in length this black ballpoint pen with replaceable cartridge has three buttons: On/Off, page up and page down, adjustable scrolling speed with speeds ranging from 1-9, LED brightness from 1-9. Requires two LR 44 (AG13) batteries (included). Includes two sets of spare batteries.
