Returns policy
In the unlikely event that you receive goods that are faulty please inform us by using the online support system where you will be issued with a returns number.
Unwanted or not required goods:
We offer a no quibble 30 day guarantee, this includes the statutory 7 day "cooling off" period as in accordance with the consumer protection (distant selling) regulations 2000, your statutory rights are not affected. If you are unhappy with any of the gifts you have ordered, please return the gift to us in sellable condition (unused and unopened) and in it's original packing for a refund of the selling price (or exchange), excluding the shipping and return shipping costs. Very important!, if the gift you are returning is scratched, used, damaged in anyway or does have all of it's packaging, manuals and accessories we will not be able to accept the item and we will return it to you and charge the shipping costs. This guarantee does not apply to personalised, customised or perishable goods such as batteries or stock that has been ordered in specifically to satisfy your order such as volume or corporate orders. As in accordance with the consumer protection (distant selling) regulations 2000, please allow up to 7 working days to process your refund or exchange. Please read and comply with the instructions below and please return goods to the address shown in the instructions section.
Faulty goods:
All of our gifts are covered by a one year warranty against workmanship and materials, if any gift does not perform satisfactorily within one year of the receipt date please contact us before returning it for repair, or at our discretion, if the gift can not be repaired, a replacement (subject to stock availability) or a refund to the amount of the original purchase price, your statutory rights are not affected. If we instruct you to return the faulty gift, please return it to the address shown below (in the instructions section) and please comply with the instructions shown below. On receipt and examination of the gift we will make a payment to the value of the postage costs shown on the outside of the envelope or box (only if sent as instructed) via a suitable method. All gifts will be examined to establish the cause of the fault, if a gift is found not to be faulty it will be returned to the customer, the return shipping costs will not be paid and the shipping costs of returning the item to the customer and any inspection costs will be charged and paid before the gift can be returned.
Instructions:
Please contact us for your returns number, all returns must have a returns number issued before we can accept the return. Please include all accessories and all packaging, manuals, batteries etc. (missing items will mean that the product is returned to you!), Please package your return well, please write your address on the back of the package, please obtain insurance to the retail value of the product you are returning and a certificate of posting which is free of charge from a post office (as any gifts returned damaged or are lost may not be covered by this guarantee). Please return via royal mail 2nd class post, for returns exceeding the weight limit of this shipping method please contact us. We will not refund return shipping costs over and above the cost of sending the return via royal mail 2nd class post. Please enclose a photocopy of your invoice or delivery note and please write on the invoice or delivery note why you are returning the product i.e. faulty or not required, and how you would like us to process your return, i.e. repair or refund - if unwanted (please see unwanted section above).

You may return any item that is in a resalable condition by following the instructions provided with the shipment, and Alternative Gifts will credit your account less any processing charges incurred by Alternative Gifts.
Due to inconsistencies with Royal Mail's postage service, please inform Customer Support stating your full order details if you haven't received your order via Royal Mail within 14 days of its despatch date. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.
Please be aware that if the item you have ordered is unwanted the original shipping costs will be deducted. If you have chosen Courier as your despatch method they will attempt to deliver to your chosen shipping address up to a maximum of three times. If there is no contact from you to the Courier to either collect or deliver on a suitable day, then the return of the product to Alternative Gifts will incur a £6.00 penalty which will be deducted from your refund.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (2006 No. 3289) (WEEE) have been put in place to
ensure that products are recycled using best available treatment, recovery and recycling techniques to ensure
human health and high environmental protection.
When you have finished with a WEEE product, please do not put in your domestic waste bin, as it will not be
recycled. Please use one of the following disposal options instead:
Recycle:
To ensure that your WEEE is recycled in accordance with the regulations, you must ensure that the goods are not
put in the bin, but are separately disposed of by taking the WEEE to your local designated collection facility.
This would normally be your local civic amenity site (recycling centre). To locate your local site,
contact your authority
or go directly to the listing of approved sites where you'll see they are
arranged by county.
It is likely that approximately 1000 civic amenity (CA) sites will be upgraded to Designated Collection
Facilities (DCFs) where consumers of WEEE from private households can deposit their WEEE.
Hand the old equivalent product back to the retailer:
Alternatively when you purchase a replacement product, hand the old equivalent product back to the retailer.
They should accept it as a requirement under the WEEE Regulations (2006 No. 3289) unless they are a member of
the Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS).
